Also, keep in mind, time frame. If time is not an issue, it'll be fine. But the U.S. takes quite a awhile to issue work visa's or to do immigration without a company sponsoring you (and only really bigger studios have the financial backing to support someone from over seas instead of a native to call you over.). I just…
WOW... Thanks for all of the awesome feedback and coments everyone. @ SuperFranky : Thanks for the awesome ref. Wish I had of found that earlier. Turns out that the Sony hack was likely done by someone inside of the company, considering that 100 Terabytes of data was stolen and there simply isn't any sort of internet infrastructure that exists that can transmit that amount of data. It would've taken more than 6 months to send that amount of data across the internet.…
Call me cheap, call me a stickler for details, but if I want only TF2, and it's advertised for $29.95 I should be able to pre-order/buy it for $29.95. Fine don't include a beta invite in the cheapo version, fine. But don't make the only way to get it (right now) as part of a bundle pack. Why haven't they made that an…

it's 100% worth learning and using, and will likely enhance and/or slowly replace my usage of Modo, which was my to-go. I've been using it for the hair plugin solely, but I'll probably be using it's many other features soon too. I don't think Blender is on par with Zbrush with sculpting yet, it's missing critical stuff…
cool project. Realistically I would say 80-90% of this could/would be achieved with tiling textures, especially in a game like uncharted 4 where they have a ton of detail and tight memory budgets. things like the walls, and floorboards generally would just be done with tiling textures and trims, and have the geo cut up…
double check the models scale is first and most likely thing. zbrush always seems to multiply scale by 10 or 100 compared to other programs so it might be very tiny in which case zoom is too fast. edit - sorry I didn't read the original question properly, I am probably answering wrong thing.
From my experience it's same in every ray-tracer I tried. And always been that way. Mostly coming from sky/environment light . Guess it's why they do small quads with displacement + actual bevels instead of hard edges outside of gamedev. Hard edges is a gamey thing. Actually I have seen a subtle hard edge reveling with…
