I second this. Textures can be pushed much further. Doesn't seem like these are even PBR? What are you using for maps?

you might also consider the shader as well. Rather than PBR, maybe something flat or cell shaded.

The substances on turbosquid are a bit old and are not made to be compatible with the PBR shader in Painter (old school diffuse/spec maps).

It's a reasonable article. For those that don't want to read, it's Unreal Engine 3 with some bells and whistles like PBR.

This is because the renderer is deferred, not because of PBR. You'd have to implement a forward renderer in order to get the light vector.
