Yeah. Geo wasn't a big problem for this past gen, but it was still considered. Even what's up there isn't soft alpha. It's dither. Which works good enough.
I always though that the environment art style for Darksiders was basically "WoW made next gen". That's how I took it anyway. The overall comment is great though.
This is incorrect, the glass shader will work with the nearest cubemap as long as 'Environment Map' is ticked under 'Shader Gen Params, opacity is set to 99 and the nearest probe is active.
As I've said a million times over to anyone that's said to me that they cant wait to get a ps3.... "Next gen's already here, what the hell are you waiting for?".

Not everything needs to be made to next gen console spec.....there are still alot of platforms (Wii, DS, PSP, iPhone) where low poly should be taken literally.
