This is steampunk-alicious. Great shapes and details and I love the blueprints as well. I think it'd be really cool to see some colour map variants - camouflage, brass with crudely painted decals etc. Really great work! -

I'd like to know about know-how part of the UE4 shader too. Now UE4 deferred decals have limitations like straight uniform overriding base color/roughness/metalness without blending and lack of metalness support. -

Have you tried doing it with a decal? I feel like that would be the quickest and most straight forward way to do it. You would probably get the best results with vertex painting the texture effect to the areas where you need it. -

I sure did shy away from getting decals on the objects which are not the floor or the walls. I should've at least introduce some vertex paining on them. Thanks for the explanation. Gonna keep that in mind in the future for sure :D Cheers! -

Looks great. I'll take a better look in the morning. First thing that popped up in my mind was ... wow that blue and yellow decal on the binocular low-poly is wayyyy too saturated for the wear and tear on the rest of it.. More critiques tomorrow. -

shabba. I like that idea. I was planing on having one of the picture frame be on the ground, that makes it even better. Are you talking about the wall next to the bed or fireplace? Im thinking I would add that detail as a decal on the wall. -

Hello everyone! So here is fresh update: i place more folliage, added some decals, made few statues for the tower and the back of the courtyard. Also play a little bit with light and postprocess. Still WIP Good luck! :) -

Ooh this looks beautiful buddy! I love it! I only feel like there's something lacking in the grip? Perhaps it's not organic enough to comfortably sit around a hand? But honestly everything looks great. I love the worn text/decals.
