What resolution did you download your base concrete texture at? I don't have a payed account on CG Textures and I find there maximum size is usually enough. You could probably improve your existing textures a lot by removing the dark seams in the concrete texture, it makes the tileing more obvious.
Hello all, i'm working on a larger scene, but i decided to take this opportunity to work on some of the concrete barriers inside of ZBrush, since i have very little experience working inside that program. My biggest issue was time; i'm trying to work as efficiently as possible, and with quite a few different concrete…
Yeah, I've had my issues with that one. It's supposed to be painted concrete. I've actually tried to make it more concrete-ish a bunch of times, but it only resulted in too much high frequency details. Nevertheless, I should give it another try :). I've got normals and speculars for most of the textures, e.g. thats the one…
you could save a ton of space by making a tileable brick texture and then another texture with the window and door elements. Then just add grime decals for the dirt. same goes for the concrete. make a tileable texture in one direction for the concrete trim. also.. put some more polys into those arches on the bottom level.…
Those cracks look a bit too artificial, as if someone carved them out of the wall intentionally. Perhaps within the chipped off concrete patches you can have a few smaller pieces still clinging onto the bricks. I would also expect to see some crack webs textured into the concrete that's still there. G
Starting up this project again! Started with a new concrete material in substance designer / new concrete beam (zbrush) ..tweaked the roughness of the stuff on the floor in the third screenshot...added a railing around the paper press. Next up; making some proper looking damaged wooden planks and the window on the left…
