Able to start and make progress on this now :) Made her crown with some booleans Then I made a blockout of her body and I have started to get more scales in. I began by using a scales brush but found just placing them gave me much nicer result. WIP
Hi all, I'm still rather new to Polycount, but I have just submitted my first weapon to the Dota2 Workshop. This weapon was made for the August competition. I will be updating this thread with future works. I am always open to feedback, so never hold back. -Aitnar Submitted items Dragons Scorn by Aitnar Death's Crown by…
Hi in 3dsmax is it possible to : when I have fr example a Cone , and an array of cones all around to make so that all the surrounding cones gets projected with their bases on the surface of the central big cone so that their tips project along thenormals and they are all distribuited around the conical object to form a…
got the rest of it into marmoset w/ normal and a quick grayscale diffuse. Will do a proper texture pass next, add the arm goo.. I want the arms sorta ghostly, coming out of this sticky demon goo so that's the plan.. and tattoo's!. Oh and the light crown... and then lighting rendering and one in the bag! :D
It could be the colour, perhaps it could be the snakes aren't menacing enough to give an evil look! The reason why I'm not a fan of V1 is the making of the limbs is very difficult for the poly budget and the crown lacks solidity. I'll try out a darker scheme to this whether that's the factor for it, thanks a lot for the…
shes beautiful but looks like a white girl playing as an egyptian. doesn't matter i suppose but you asked for a critique so that's my offering. design wise there is no way that crown stays on without a beefy chinstrap but again, who cares really. it looks cool so that's all that matters I suppose.
how about this one ... isn't that a sprinkler with no crown, I just followed the references from that since I don't see any references about sprinklers with no crown ... at the first place I didn't find any vintage equipments references so I ask my friend about what are those vintage equipments and he answered "SSB Radio"…
Few of my tips: - Start from the back of the head and work your way up towards the crown. Then sides to the part line, then front/top to the crown. - Use White/Blonde hair textures, for working (dark will hide too many mistakes). - Do not let the hair cards intersect. - Rather than paint curvature in your texture, paint…
Nice work! my only crit is that there's a lot of crisp edges in the detailing, like the rings under the crown. They look a bit wider/rounder in the original. Seconding what Snader said about thickening things up. Since you're using planes for the lowpoly, a bit more of an exaggerated bevel to get a good read.
Hey guys, Sorry for the delayed updates. Put a wee bit more work into Midna. Added quick polypaint, adjusted her face proportions a bit, started working on her crown, and I added her skirt. I would love some critique if anyone is willing! Thank you for looking :3
