Thanks Eric . I have company license . Just haven't updated it since 23 . So accustomed to 3dmax being ancient dinosaur I stopped to pay attention but this new feature makes me curious . Hoped somebody already tested it and save me precious C drive space . Gemini says there is a script that allows to copy /paste in between…
Its a great feature request that would have saved me extra steps over teh years. Most of my scripts are created to remove those extra steps. Like you say... they seem trivial but once you've done them enough times... you realize how much time could be saved.
Aero is eye candy, it gives your windows/taskbar transparency, and transitions etc. It's for windows vista/7(/8?). To turn it off just go into your appearance settings in control panel and choose a basic theme. If you're unable to find it a quick google on "disable aero" should give you step by step instructions :)
the distance from the steps to the center ring looks right but from the platform at the bottom of the steps to the center ring looks like it needs more distance.... could be wrong but scaling that platform down a bit might do the trick also can you post shots that include the ceiling please :D looks good thou !
How to embed images: http://polycount.com/discussion/63361/information-about-polycount-new-member-introductions/p1#embedding That's a strange result. What steps did you use to create the hose mesh? What steps did you use to create the path? Also, have you tried Reset Xform on both?
Well I'm guessing the step-by-step are gonna be a little different depending wich program you use but basically, you create a black and white image (assigning black or white for transparancy) and you link it in the transparency attribute of your texture just like you would attach an image to the color attribute. Hope this…
Looking tight funky, getting the tinglies thinking about how u do that hair - so u better do it soon O_O <3 Did a step by step for the witches head, all about starting rough and loose, then building up colour and contrast. Hope it helps the people who were curious about it.
Step 4: was a really easy step. i used the basic AK-47 skin the game provides, to select the wood and grip areas. i darkened the pieces by converting the photos to grayscale, then using photoshops "brightness and contrast" tools. after that was complete i dragged and dropped the needed areas onto my custom design.
hi everyone! Nice initiative @Elithenia! Doing the work is the only way to improve and this type of challenge helps to have constancy. :) I'm a bit late but I will recover the 7 heads after you guys completing the 30 days"... step by step So here I am: Head 8 Day 1 for me.
Disconnect is sometimes the best key, is what i do and i can say it helps a lot. Computers are not a good thing, too many hours working on the same thing is not very good. Mental fatigue--> no motivation (sadness)--> procrastinating Recharge yourself! :D and don't stay too much hours with a computer. Step by step.
