As a cub of the Ursine, only one thing frightened me. Not the stories of phantom bears that stalked our village at night, nor the
tale of witches that snatched cubs out past curfew. What scared me was something real. The sacred Gelid Mountains. Cubs assembled every fourth moon, sat by roaring fires and listened to…
You need to separately model out that thigh bandolier. It's reading as a muddy block of clay instead of bags. What images were you using to reference this Spawn? A Rob Liefield painting, or something else?
wow, absolutely stunning. I love the stains around the mouth and on the strap, what an awesome touch. There is just so much to look at I can't take my eyes off of this guy. thanks for sharing.
The oil stains on his face can probably be darker, and the clear area should be larger, representing the entire area covered, not just the clear frames. Also note that the edges are not sharp, and the coverage isn't uniform.
Great base, keep going with this. Would love to see hints of age vis a vis soot/stains. Scale's a little hard to pin down as well. Would be nice to see a hammer or smithing tools.
Wow. It's a good thing you got out of that situation before it was too late. He really seems to be the habitually disingenuous sort, a poser (poseur?) so forcefully posing he might sprain something.
Ah creativity is not dead! These are so well designed. They remind me of stained glass murals. Awesome work. Not sure I love the chibi style characters/icons. The concept illustration looks more appealing.
lookin pretty cool so far johnny. it actually looks a bit more like a krypt than a dungeon. but it still would be pretty cool to see some hanging chains and blood stains. :D
http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/LightingReference.html scroll down to Light Functions I'm actually doing this in my level, probably going to post some questions about it in the udk thread. It's perfect for stained glass windows.
Textures are looking pretty good!, only crit I have is the table texture tiles a little too obviously, maybe add some kind of dirt or stains over it to break up the tiling a little?
