Modeling with less reference images? Any good tips?
Hello, If you have to model a face. And you have only one image what you have to model. How do you approach this? I have a image from what i want to model a character face, I have similar but not same side view image. How would you recommend modeling in this case? Try to find similar expression face side view? -

I rendered a shot using a linear workflow, than turned SRGB View in the VFB. I saved the img as a jpeg, and it still showed it in the windows photo viewer as it showed the img in the VFB with the SRGB View. The img I saved was in linear color space, without a viewer or a program to change the gamma, it wont show in SRGB… -

Maya Normal map problem
So Im trying out maya 2016 and I find yet another problem I think :D Every time I apply a normal map and try to view it in view port 2.0 it show up in a really bizarre way. Nice work on the front view but the side view seems a bit weird to me, I am no anatomy specialist but it looks like his jaw has a big prognathism and his face is a bit "flattened" Sorry for my bad english, i tried to illustrate what i meant, hope it makes sense just my opinion though, I might be wrong, good luck! -

If you zoom in to the Scene you should automatically snap to smaller increments - this avoids having to mess around with grid scale and what not. It just looks like the anti-aliasing (or lack of) you are getting in the Maya view port. The render in the view port is only very basic.
