Hi all! I hope you can help me with this issue that I was banging my head against for most of yesterday... I have a Niagara particle system in my scene which has a couple of texture samples in it. It looks great in editor, however when I create a package using the Windows x64 profile settings, the texture samples seem to…
I find it really, really hard to find textures. Does anybody know any texture sites, any at all? The first that turn up on Google require membership. Thanks in advance!
nah, leaves on rocks were ok because the WHOLE texture was 1 ground texture. Ivy over a wall would likely (normally) be two objects/texture sets. If you just wanted to make 1 texture of a wall with ivy on it, you could still use this technique. They were just pointing out that if you wanted Ivy, and you wanted a Wall, you…
Hi everyone! We're Estudio Antropo (ANTROPO LLC) based in San Francisco, California. Currently, we are developing CARTONEROS game. It is a video + board game hybrid, that is played like a traditional board game, but with digital content. We are looking for a texture artist who will be texturing the models of the basic set…
Hey there everybody, I'm fairly new here and I'm a little lost, so I hope I'm posting this in the proper place. I have a question about textures for in game models. I'm trying to make a fairly simple demo of a 3D side scroller and I wanted to get the most out of my textures so for some of my characters I have multiple UV…

I need to load a texture that is 32kpx x 14kpx. I've already generated the initial image, and rendering that image out once it's in max won't be an issue…
hmmm... is that a photo ref overlayed on to your texture? cuz that is how it feels. Look at this website. it has some good understanding of work flow and approaching textures. http://www.philipk.net/tutorials/materials/materials.html Some quick comments, some of the highlights you have on the texture look blown out, and…
there is no "magic button" like Make PBR texture or Convert to PBR. If you looking for texturing from photo resource, just use the traditional tutorial. there are many good tutorial out there. PBR is a different concept, not a totally new and strange stuff. you still can use photo resource and make texture very similar way…
dDo tends to give off a very particularly look and feel where you can tell that it was used. I think it's a great tool to use to get a base texture done but maybe you can try to make the textures yourself (either from scratch or using these textures as a base and expanding from them), I think it would be interesting to…
