Yeah, those RE4 parasite scenes at first reminded me of Malaria. Nasty little fuckers whose eggs get injected into your bloodstream by mosquitoes, then they hatch and start eating your bloodcells. Fortunately they don't pop out of your head and start flailing tentacles at people... -

The decap was actually off-camera, though you did get to see the head afterwards. When he presents it as a gift via a bowling bag. :p The awesomeness came from the cold-bloodedness of the kill. -
