forget about printer scanners all in one unless you need a copy machine. Most scanners will outlast your printer. My Canon scanner - doesn'y need a power supply, only USB, which is nice - must be 17 years old by now. I went through 4 printers during that time. Cheap lasers are great, but eventually they break.

I'm desperate for a new printer- I'm currently using a Lexmark and the ink prices are driving me to bankrupcy. Then again, I have no idea if HP are any cheaper,but mine's an all in one, so I either have to get a new scanner/printer or find some room to use two printers in.... haha, find some room, right.

The stupid printer I'm using seems to have gotten clogged. I have done the clean cycle nonsense several time. The only color that doesn't seem to work is that black one.
