Online has the extra lab fees, but the room and board add up FAST. +1 to making it AIO. But Pittsburgh was the first one and it spawned from the Pittsburgh campus so...>.<
Goddamn it I've had it with all these sudden love liquid stains. Oh and another note, I completely agree, the devotion of you guys to the community makes me happy.
really? Awesome! I hope that happens. Is there any way to turn off jockey spawning in the game, through the console or whatever. They totally ruin the game for me, they fucking suck.
Before I type out the draft/final draft below, please note that this is the first time I have ever joined a Polycount contest of any kind, and was not aware that I needed to post a WIP thread. The Stickied Narrative Submission Guidelines here in this forum also didn't mention it. So I am providing this retroactively, and I…
Dune. Here is my take on the planet Arrakis. The Spice is so potent on the planet that it's in the food and drink, eventually turning a person's eyes blue. I thought it would be interesting to see it affect the environment as well, staining the canyons and bedrocks.

Thanks for the advice, Brian:) It is a little too green right now - the lighter panels on the walls are white with some staining, but the ceiling does have a tint to it. The time of day in the reference image is what i was going for - morning/midday values.
I've tried a line attractor on the Y axis and point on X, with the line attractor diminishing strength over time. For some reason it stops particles being visible / spawned at all until I turn off the line attractor.
Why would you do something you find boring? :) It's great, like others said. Is there a spec map on the sink? If yes, it looks like it could use more conrast maybe(the stains look little flat). If not, add it :) .
Yeah, I did spawn all that from my head and on the sot. That was merley an excercise of some sort. Snemmy what you said was a very big help and i'll take it all into consideration and plan out next time.
