So everything was done with dynamesh. What i did for the fingers was mask out the area i needed, pull it out, work it until it felt stable, and then to duplicate it, i masked it and in the subtool rollout i hit "extract" and made sure the distance was set to zero, that creates a new subtool of just the masked area, which i… -

The most simple way is to have the TV body as one material, and the screen as another material that you can set up the content from. Alternatively just know where your TV screen is in texture coordinates, make sure there's some sort of mask for it, then scale and move the tv content texture as needed in the material, and… -

like Mantkore said Cntrl+ Sft drag an area mask over what you want deleted. Let go of the hot keys keep the pen or mouse clicked. Press the alt key and the mask turns red. Let go of the mouse/pen button and the area under the mask disappears. Tool menu/geometry/modify topology/ Del Hidden. Cheers -
