A. View your models with normal map applied, looking at your normal map in photoshop will not tell you anything. View it in your target engine as well. B. Apply smoothing groups to each uv island, this will likely help. Textools has a feature to do this automatically. More on that topic here:… -

I'm testing her hair here. I started with A and from them turned out B and C. In the gray material I like A more. I have tried to bring her hair closer to how they will be in the final render. Which option do you like best? Maybe there are tips, suggestions on how to make her hair better. -

Easiest, best way to detriangulate a model?
I've got a complicated head model I need to detriangulate. What's the best way to do this? I have no knowledge of programming or scripts... Yeah, maybe a bit of a tangent but, when you're figuring out your rate as a freelancer you need to consider: A. What your need to live on (base rate) B. Hardware cost C. Software cost D. Taxes E. Retirement F. Health insurance G. Downtime So all that factors into what you need to charge a client for work. -
