What level of detail do you mean for this character? I've done a high poly prime, and have the statue here on my desk. I'd say you're fairly accurate, but I'm not sure how accurate you mean to be. Wireframes are good too. :P
As soon as they build something worth seeing over there I'll consider going. A casino or something, I don't know. I don't get the whole legendary thing. What good is being legendary and dead? The whole point of being legendary is to get to enjoy your new legend status.

You could also take advantage of your student status to get Softimage 2011 for free as well, which would include several improvements over Mod Tool (one of which being a better unwrapping option). There are a few video tutorials for unwrapping in Softimage on the Area, as messy as that system is.
I think it looks cool, I like the creases. The cloth feels very thick though, as if it were actually a stone statue or figurine rather than an actual kimono. Maybe flatten out the lumpiness and have a few more sharp folds? Anyway, nice sculpting. :) Looks fun.
