Was playing last night, and a rainshower in Armadillo left puddles on the ground after it finished that slowly dried up and made appropriate vfx (splashes or mud glops) and sound fx while walking around them. And even for that dynamic factor it still looked better than most static "just finished raining" scenes I've seen… -

So far the whole body is good to go for rigging except for the hand, I already made a rig and animated it with some idle animation and crouching animation. Well, Seeing as you are doing different configurations, and if I may be so bold to suggest another alternate, I've always loved the look of the carbon XR style intakes. I modeled it a few months ago, And it went pretty quick. Maybe 4-5 hours on it. Something about the symmetry of it, Looked nice. (sorry for big image)… -

I think that if you want a realistic artstyle (idk whether you want it or not) your materials are a bit flat, you might want to add more high frequence details. Also the 3d models are not physically correct sometimes: i.e. the lights cords are just embed into the ceiling. In real world you would probably have come geometry…
