As i posted above, I use xnormal for bake, i.e. in this case im testing its curvature map feature. The fact that it depends on raycasting like AO, I did a test and at full quality it takes as long as an AO bake which is not what I want (40mins+ for 4x 1024, 300 rays, etc) I'm running max 2013 and there doesn't seem to be a… -

Toolbag will import all the textures that in finds in the FBX material. The problem here is that in general, the 3D app that you're exporting from doesn't support (or the FBX format doesn't support) all the map types, so only the ones that are saved to the file can be loaded. Generally speaking, it's best to make sure that you export all rather than export selection, export selection can miss parts of the rig that are essential for the animation to work. Also, anything like "bake animation" should be turned on in the export settings. A quick check that you can do is try loading the FBX file… -
