cgf not showing up in cryengine
I've been trying to get props into cry 3.5.3 but the cgfs don't show up in engine. The cgf seems be be exporting from max fine and are in the right directory. I've gotten the dll from their website, downloaded the editor again, and manually put the tools plugins into the right folders. Any ideas?… -

I like the way it came out, but for the first image, I would show off an isoline display of the high poly mesh (it looks too messy with every line showing) and use a perspective view rather than an orthographic one to show how it looks more realistically. -

You are using an old version of vray. If possible use Vray Next it does have a lot of new tech to make scene like yours faster. If im correct you use mesh lights? Those are really slow. I would try to use a sphere light and fake the glow in post. -

LOL. Man I'm not out to tear to shreds. Just trying to point out some issues. I've been at that hotel. I've got a ton of stories of sketchy GDC hotels. Just make sure to have images in a gallery on your phone/tablet to show. It'll be faster than the slow wifi. -

@Blond, looking good. The beginning feels bit slow. I'd open with the two dudes drinking, starting around 10 sec, fade in mid-action as the guy is drinking from the mug; play to ~20sec when the skier comes in and throws the mug up in the air, show contact info, then the rest of that shot. -

you're probably right... found a vid showing how to make a desert in about 15 mins and was just going to put a character and a couple of vehicles... but like i say it's been a long slow learning curve so its probably going to be rubbish! :D it'll make for a fun hobby at least! -
UE4 Static mesh Glow problem
Hello Everyone! I'm working on a level design and I imported this warehouse that I created in maya, and everything inside the warehouse mesh has a weird white glow around it, and black in some cases! Nothing outside these building looks this way but I don't have any place in map where character can go inside. I've baked… -

How much ram does your system have? Simulations are time consuming. Bifrost does have great quality but is therefore slow. The big studios do not care that much about speed they have monster computers. For a one man show look at other solutions like phoenix or realflow. -

Mountains of cocaine, and then rhino tranqs when you need to slow down. Racer445 shows this awesome technique in his hard surface modeling overview on CGTuts+ where he actually uses a turbosmooth set to use smoothing groups to automate support loops, calls it double-smooth or something like that.
