It's cheaper to knock down trees and bushes than it is to demolish and clear industrial ruins. IIRC, there are actually a LOT of silly hurdles to recovering these sort of locations. (Your picture, that is.) Not that I agree with demolishing forests, but... the more you know!
Whirlwind few weeks lately, so much IRL guff to deal with! Working on the ramen bar's tiled wall material: And found the perfect spot for ol' Greentooth: EDIT: Forgot this brick texture I made too:
If it's only a few faces within the model, you may need to use Normals>Conform to fix any inverted face normals. IIRC Blender treats UVs outside 0-1 UV space as being inverted.
Ah, i only knew the kiko till now - you got the style rendered quit nicely . Hmmm - the princess heart (silenthill3 hidden suit) has a magic wand with a heart on top ... and a UZI submachinegun iirc.
Softened the nose and changed the lips. I'm not quite sure how the nose is supposed to arc on her, google is refusing to give me a side shot of her nose. Thanks for all the comments guys, its really helping.
i couldn't get on with the stupid ballistic- arc pack commonly refered to as a jetpack and gave up a tthe demo stage. jetpacks should allow you to fly not be something that just makes you jump an long way...
Photoshop can make a path out of a selection, and IIRC you can adjust the tolerance it uses, which essentially makes the path rounder. Then I think you can just export the AI. Dunno, might work.
I looked it up, and never heard of it, even though it does have actors/actresses that I've heard of. I'd say it's a bit too obscure, but I have seen it play on sundance and IFC. So oh well.
the joan of arc tutorial at www.3dtotal.com is very good, its a high poly but it translates well to low poly technique wise 1. learn 3d studio max or maya 2. learn the hell outta photoshop
Refining my workflow and trying out some new things. Mostly blockout stuff so far except for the blade, which I consider maybe 50% done. Tricount is something like 700 iirc and it's 1024x1024 (wasteful, but it's for texture practice only so) Be harsh! :P
