title pretty much says it all. I was wondering if there is a way to show spec and bump maps in viewports. I've tried looking but can't seem to find any way to show them.
I've done the double spec before it shouldn't be much more expensive all it is is doing the spec calc once with 2 seperate POWs and multiplies by color.
I don't think coloured spec is always necessary imo. Since spec is cheap way of doing reflection, it totally depends on the lighting and environment the model is in.
looks more and more awesome everytime i look back! Love the detail in the eyes and hands. Is this going to be to ingame spec? cinematic spec? or just no limits? :)
specular man! but seriously, some of the spec needs to be toned down, it's far too busy on the eye. I'd go for removing the spec map on the skin, completely.
