Not sure if this is a good answer but I found when I was more inexpert this document to explain a lot of things in easy way for new gen game stuff... http://www.infinity-universe.com/Infinity/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=89
A line is a geometric shape made up of 2 points. A polygon is a geometric shape made up of 3 to infinity points. A triangle is a polygon with 3 points A quad is a polygon with 4 points An ngon usually refers to a polygon with more than 4 points.
There's definitely a difference. Infinity Blade runs smoother on my iPhone 4 than it does on my iPad. Multitasking could play a huge part in slowing things down, but even with no other apps open, the iPhone is faster. Not by a huge margin, but it can be noticeable.
I did a simple looping animation, but when I go to post infinity > cycle, not all the cycles turn out smooth. I'm just not sure what is causing the occasional blip in the cycle. I've attached a screenshot because I'm not quite sure how to explain it.
Hello Everyone, Thank you for all of the applications, we received portfolios from many talented artists. This position has been filled for now, but if we need anymore help in the future, we will post another listing here! The Infinity Vector Team
We're currently looking for Environment/Prop modelers. We're a small team (but we're growing), founded by ex-Infinity Ward guys. We're making a game using the Cryengine. You can check us out here: http://robotoki.com/
I don't know wether what I am thinking is a good thing or a bad thing. But I am beginning to lose respect for Infinity Ward for this sort of "sell-out" publicity, on a game that isn't really reinventing any wheels.
Episode06 - The Cave. I am not very happy with it this time. My conditions were only to use the assets given from the infinity blade asset package. I am not certain what exactly it is I don't like about it, but there is something.. https://youtu.be/noMjk3xcPow
Infinity could be a bit risky. Autodesk does have a strange opinion how the hardware of a "Standard" Arist looks like. VFX Studio Workstations tend to have dual Quadro/Geforce Cards and 256GB of ram. Which isnt the norm for Games.
i Really hope so i never did a 3d model really only like a pirate gone that turned out horrible. but thank you so much Infinity ;) i got no idea what i am doing haha
