Hello everyone Recently I have been experiencing some problems when baking with Marmoset. Although all the other maps look fine, my material id always turns out blue and there is nothing I can do to avoid the issue. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks F
I import a mesh object into max5, assign a materal to it (multi-sub)and render -all is fine. I attach it to another mesh, assign a materal, render is No Good. Checked the IDs, all ok. Any ideas?
I was watching 3DMotive's Baking Normal Maps - Tips and Tricks this morning, and Alec Moody described Max's Material ID Projection for normal map baking. It sounds pretty sweet, but I can't seem to find a Maya/XNormal equivalent (it's for work, and work doesn't use Max, so I'm stuck). Does anyone here know of a good Maya…
Hey guys, for some reason my material Id is baking in only one color, I have followed all the steps of making a new material and applying it to the high poly then changing the Albedo to vertex color before baking but this is the result I get! Please help!!

I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it, I was just running some baking tests on a simple object and I noticed that only the ID map had an issue, I've tried high resolutions, 8x8 subsampling but it doesn't matter. The left side comes out clean while the right side comes out with artifacts / noise, I don't know what to call it.
Hey All, I'm having some problems troubleshooting this. I have an ID map I baked in painter and am getting really jagged edges around borders of colors.

Hi guys, I'm working on a project that requires completely sharp, non-antialiased ID maps. Any way to generate these in Marmoset 3 (or 4)? Nearest neighbour filtering or something similar?
Obviously not AAA or anything, I have only been composing since May. But like small low budget indie/personal projects? I like contributing and since its not my actual job I can do it alot cheaper than a full time freelance artist. My brother left his FL studio 10 with me back in April and I didn't start messing around…
