I never said anything about other 3d suites, but you gotta admit, 4D Studio Max would sound way cheesier. :poly124: I am honestly curious if anyone on polycount uses it for game art.
Interesting. Kay after searching the polycount forum I found a good idea. I'm just gonna make the bricks in 3d max hopefully that smooth out any repeating textures, plus it will be easier i think on me.
Great work, almost looks more like a painting than a 3d scene. Reminds me a lot of the stuff I've done on ps2, but you got to use a lot more polygons. Speaking of which, what's the scene's polycount?
Heres an sdk for a head i just modeled: http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/cottages/crash/earthquake/newhead.rar everything should be in working order, let me know if anyone spots any problems... .lwo, .3ds and .obj included.
I saw another post somewhere in polycount that said something similar too. Something about 3d max forcing aero users to switch to classic, which then causes lag problems in photoshop because of using classic theme.

A little bit of background: The University of Southern California's Games program is a world-ranked game development program (We've been #1 for 3 years now). In the…
Yes i have made this thread a while ago, but was experimenting with some projection in 3dsmax since i tried to do the baking into a plane then projecting it back into a 3d UV'ed model. if posting it again is against polycount rules, then i am not aware of it :/
Noice. Might be fun to interlace the text with interactive image flipping instead of strips. Maybe polycount needs a little image gallery plugin (with tile separation options). Could be cool for wire overlays in ye olde 3d pimping sections. Hhmmmm
Home is where the Greentooth is. Seriously though, fucking awesome! Polycount has been the single best resource throughout my career in 3D. Lots of friends made, lots of advice and inspiration gotten and looking forward to an awesome future of even more of that.
