Try setting the game to run in maxqualitytexture mode. By putting -MAXQUALITYMODE in the shortcut. This basically runs the game with all the textures at maximum. You can also turn off the texture streaming using -NOTEXTURESTREAMING And you can adjust the softness of the shadows by adjusting the light source angle on the… -

udk seems to have started streaming shadowmaps which might be causing this problem. there's a couple of threads talking about it on here somewhere i think. the workaround i've been using is to use the override shadowmap resolution option in the mesh properties but that has to be done per actor. using a moveable light just… -

I don't know about Manic Time, but Rescue Time only logs activity from the active window at the time, so streaming internet radio while you work in your 2D or 3D application of choice won't log that time spent as browsing. EDIT: Ah, okies, Manic Time does that too. Cheers, Bitmap :) -

Yeah that materials going to be tricky, I think it's actually a stucco building if I remember right. Just not sure if that kind of fine detail is going to carry well with Unreals mip maps I may have to force it to never stream the texture. So it shows from a distance but on the bright side that should be a few weeks out :D
