Like the hands but imo the feet are a little too round. As for reference take a look around for the resident evil comics, they are a good inspiration and somewhere between the romeros "blueskin" and Lucio Fulchi "sandpaperskin" zombies. hth, JT (cough - //refactory.free.fr/screen/re0/art_zombie.jpg:)
Its 2 hours long, but do yourself the favor... Cause you never really know http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ Z-Day March 15th, 2008 What do you all think is going on? Think this is paranoia or something is really going down?
hey, i joined during the time that we were still waiting for the new site to be completed. So, i just wanted to know, what was the rest of the polycount site outside of forums? What was there? i just don't know what to expect wth the new one.
A Little project I really wanted to do. 9th and 10th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. Was incredibly fun texturing and modeling this asset. If you guys have any criticism, tip, or comments please post them. I would love to push this piece even further.
Not really no. Because they perform culling which determines what can be seen, so you have to balance batching and individually drawing each object. Like I said for a whole house it doesnt make sense, you will never see all of it. You are only batching static objects as well. So in an FPS online, you never usually see all…
I lost my DX11 card on the 2th of march or something, never had the chanse to try any of the new features. Maybe we should fire up a thred describing how to create all the new features. Ahumm..
Ok thanks, I'll try that later. For everyone else: the survey ist still going, and please make sure to fill out each question and the salary is in $/year (not € or sth else) if you're attending ;) Thanks again for all the participation!
I personally love your car-speed-plate part. I do not know exact name. The golden ring on the 4th picture that tells us how fast machine is. I love that. How did you texture it?
Runs surprisingly well on my laptop (ath 64 3000 with ati mobile 9600 64mb). Despite everything set to low, still looks pretty. Will have to try online matches when I get a free evening.
This is really, really cool, especially the moCap and facial tracking. It's great to see such high-quality work from 6th semester students! Until now I wasn't even aware that there's a gaming study in Darmstadt. Keep it up guys! :)
