absolutely amazing, great work (Y)... Only thing I could pick out was that the pink flower on your fourth screenshot is completely static as the rest of your foliage is moving.
This happends when i move "squirrel_Ctril" in Y a few units. It looks like the IK's (Tail, Spine, and back legs) distort everything else, but I'm not sure how to correct that.
The animations on the banners are kind of distracting, they look a bit of and also kinda jaggy/stop motion-y, not sure whats going on with that. other then that, its looking gorgeous, really stellar work!
Shure thing, You could use the "Ground Dirt" Smart mask. For it to work you would need to bake your position map with the right axis (for this modell y ) setting:

Notice how the handles along the Y-axis are locked symmetrically by default when creating a patch grid. How do I unlock the handles so that I can move them independently of one-another?
