Hi all, When I load 16 bit .tiffs into Toolbag, it doesn't seem to remember my sRGB settings upon re-import. This means that every time I re-open the project I have to manually go through every material and re-enable sRGB for my color and spec. Any ideas?
wacoms do not appear to be very friendly with unreal ed does anyone use a digital tablet with unreal and if so, what setup and settings are you using to enable you to do so? i heard "mouse mode" rather than "pen mode" may work, so i'll try that when i get a moment
I wanted to generate maps using this material: http://puu.sh/fqQt1/21b780e863.jpg It has a nice bump in the preview but when I use it the bump is just plain grey. The material also has no bump in the preview in 3DO or in UE4. Is there any setting to enable bump generation or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
Well, he's positing the free choice of exchanging goods and services, which is in no way unique to capitalism (and takes the teeth out of the system). SOLVED! I finally figured it out, just now. Solution is, as you might expect, rather simple and I feel silly for not coming up with it earlier: All I had to do is enable compatibility mode for ZBrush to and set it to Windows 7. Hope this helps in case you're experiencing the same!
Once you apply IK, you can no longer directly transform any object in the IK Chain. To swivel the knee there are two things you can do: 1. Enable Select and Manipulate and modify the swivel gizmo. 2. Set a Swivel Target object in the motion panel. This is the preferred method.
This is great news- OTOY/Octane. When complete, will purchase. Questions still remain as to the cost of "mega scans" materials. Also a better understanding of how the Materials can be accessed. Can they be loaded and referenced only in one session, or will we be able to store them in some manner, to enable working offline?
Checking/unchecking axis constraints does nothing, apart from what you'd expect it to do, which is enabling/disabling the axis constraints. The dropdown menu is set to standard. This is what my Grid and Snap Settings window looks like: Unfortunately I already knew all that, but thanks anyway.
All righty then, in solid mode with GLS lighting enabled I think the object's shape/silhouette looks a 'close enough' match too the reference material... Anyway next up adding/refining welds and of course bevel'ing dem hard edges :D together with other surface detail. Cheers.
