Cannot wait for this either. Super pumped. Also not expecting some amazing movie but hoping it will be something memorable, awesome and entertaining. Main character almost always looks like he is about to cry. Maybe his eyes or some shit. 3D Jeff Bridges is crazy awesome. Chick is smokin hot.
@lotet Thanks! :D I'm happy with the final result, and above everything it helped me take first steps towards a visual style and pipeline for future assets. What's new today - progress on the first level. This bridge / platform will serve as a tutorial before ending in open space. And some drones closeup!
top eyelids should be tad smaller, and just above it add some fat to fill out the concave area next to the nose bridge. flesh the glabella and brow bone for strong look. nostrils seem abit thick and the septum doesnt seem to hang low enough. its coming along nicely !
i think they're great, but i honestly prefer sculptris for base meshes now. it's really easy to just flesh out ideas without worrying about topology, yet still getting in the sculpting right away. meshmixer is also awesome if you need holes/connecting bridges in your sculpt.
Pretty dang good for Wings 3D :D Your model is several, try connecting it up, maybe using bridge or weld? For a start, try where the exhaust meets the back of the seat. The two chamfered, sticking up blocks. As I say pretty lush so far, keep it up. H
Alright added a couple more polys to that bridge in the middle and it smoothed quite well. You can also see the buttons for the stock off to the left, i was going to have the purple one as floating geometry and the blue one in as the button, you can also barely see the hinge on the other side of the gun.
currently I'm trying to polymodel human faces without references.. and in particular I'm struggling to understand how to connect the following fascio, if I do connet it stright on, making a bridge withing the nose, I think that I do increase too much the polycount, also for some reasons it looks wrong, any tip?
Alright, I'm gonna critique in chronological order. The walk before the character starts her run is pretty stiff, let the arms, legs and back bend some. I like the transition from walk to run. The down before the jump needs to be exaggerated more. I agree with Aesir there should be a bit more acceleration in the slide.…
First time using Substance Designer, and I just followed the cobblestone tutorial on Gnomon by Rogelio Olguin. Modified it to fit my needs. I was going for a rugged old stone feel. It will be used in a scene on a railroad bridge with arches. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated, thanks! Reference, that I strayed pretty…
Nightshade Connect is a tool I have just released on Creative Crash. It's a tool for quickly creating a polygon connection or "bridge" between an edge selection and a curve. With this you can easily connect two odd shapes, like a square edge selection to a hexagon NURBS-curve. Perfect for high polygon modelling. Features:…
