Wow lots of negatives for plasma. Vig, where did you find a cheaper LCD? It seems in the 46-50" range the plasmas are coming in considerably cheaper than the LCD's. But from the talk here it seems LCD really is the way to go despite the 'truer' blacks from a plasma. I'm not too hard on my tv currently it only gets… -

"Honestly not sure why sub-d still alive" Because in actual day to day practice there are many models that are just an order of magnitude faster and more efficient to build in subdiv rather than in CAD, especially if the provided concept isn't a fully locked technical drawing and if the design will be subject to tweaks… -

Yeah, it was cool to meet some more polycounters, it's definitely a friendly bunch of people that hang out here. I'm going to try and write up some thoughts on what I saw at the show. There was nothing too directly applicable like the Bay Raitt membrane modeling thing last year, but some good nuggets of advice. -

Ok, just a few quick words of advice... I work with Vray on a daily basis in a studio and producing images similar to these.. probably much more realistic to be honest... We have a common light setup of Vray dome light Vrome directedlight 1 or 2 coming from an open lightsource i.e windows etc.. Vray spotlights for lamps… -
