hnnnnggggggg! It looks great- I'm sure the authentic battle damage will really take it over the top. I don't envy you when it comes time to transfer this all down;)
Home: Intuos4 Large Work: Cintiq 22HD that Daniel Kim, thank God, found for me at half price because of cosmetic damage that didn't actually affect the active area.
I agree with WarrenM. What you have is a great start but could definitely do with some more grime/dirt/damage. Also, those wires are really hard to see!
A little to much bump effect in the presentation. Some bricks have visible conections with other bricks texture / damage wise what and lift the illusion that every brick is a single element.
Why does the lower part of the walls look so poor in quality in comparison to the rest ? They don't look damaged, they don't look constructed... they just look.... like PS1 graphic.
If they know what they are doing and the damage was only to the forums and sql databases, this is a 30 min fix. Granted i'm giving them credit that they make daily backups and keep them onsite.
I wonder if theres a defamation law suit in this. the guy's arguments are clearly unfounded and damaging our industry. Surely EA for example, could slap him with a massive lawsuit... right?
I started work on this yesterday. I'm happy with the silhouette, and the texturing is getting there, but I'd love some feedback from the community! The attached is a screengrab from within Substance Painter. I'm trying to not go overboard with the damage/grime.
Just some of the many ships I created for Double Damage Games, that will appear in Rebel Galaxy, can't wait to fly them, on PS4, XBOX One, Mac, PC, Steam... http://www.pinterest.com/grafxbox/rebel-galaxy-spaceships/
