Hmm, well if it's a program your looking to use i would personally suggest Autodesk 3ds max 2009, 2010 or what i use now 2011. its incredible once you get used to it in the first week. any other specifics you require? cause i can help you in any of those departments! -

Also guilty of this nearly every time I use Chamfer, I think it's something in the design of the UI for that tool as compared to the Extrude/Bevel/Inset tools, you just get so used to those that you automatically go to that same spot in Chamfer - you'd think someone at Autodesk would have realized this and changed it by… -
