Huh... so adding more geo then removing the edge loops... I'll give that a try... see if it helps. I read some of that threat but not all of it... I'll give it a look-see and see how it helps. Bakers do magic it seems, any other advice would be awesome.
Just a heads up, beta keys have started going out and will be for the next few days, do not discuss or tell anyone if you have gotten into the beta you have a chance of being kicked if you do. Hears to hoping stoofoo worked his magic :D
the legs aren't done yet, (there are a ton of little screwy things that have to get sorted out) but I thought I would throw something up because its been a few days... so for the most part... lieutenant Dan has a new pair of magic legs.
Pendulum would not work in any way in this design. I know it's not supposed to be real, but think of some other way other than a pendulum to keep the time on it while keeping the grandfather clock visual language. Even if it's just "magic does it", fine, but that pendulum sticks out as ridiculous.
Usually I would just use the pen tool to trace the shape, but the quick way on that image would be to magic wand select the background with a bit of tolerance, and delete the background. Then ctrl click the layer to get the selection you want, and fill the selection with a plain color in another layer.
yeah i'm having to call bullshit on using wacom to play games, unless you know some magic way to make it work,, bewcause i've tried it on several occasions. iff you do have a secret way to make it work thne let me know
Hi, Can anyone help to explain to me how both of these new rendering techniques work? They almost seem like magic to me: Steep Parallax: http://graphics.cs.brown.edu/games/SteepParallax/index.html Hardware Tessellation: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkKtY2G3FbU&NR=1[/ame] Thanks a ton.
I'm working on a new game project and I thought I would share the player's weapon. It's a magical matchlock the player can upgrade in a modular fashion. Its suppose to resemble a really rough ink sketch and look 2D. Its about 3000 - 7000 tris depending on how many upgrades the player is using.
I'll be doing a re-design of Deep Terror Thresh. The idea is that Thresh's dark magic has taken over the creatures of the deep sea and commanded them to reanimate his corpse and collect souls to serve the sea. Big fan of the game and the champion, so this should be fun! cheers! :) LATEST UPDATE: -SC
