Just wondering is there any way to get ao map slot in differently using UV channel 2 instead of multiply to the diffuse in photoshop? example case would be modelling a large building which utilise UV tiling for concrete/ wood/etc texture to get the best possible texture resolution rather then make each UV island not… -

Ok I was playing a bit with the maps and I discovered this : The parallax seems to be a image reflected and seen trhouth the surface of the mesh the alpha in the diffuse setting of the texture base seem seems to allow more or less transparency to the first diffuse layer , the subsurface3 I am not actually sure what it does… -

Update: Finally took it into UDK, main block out is done and Lighting is currently temp. I will now be going into creating textures for all current stuff before making all kinds of props to go into the scene. Metal is defined by how reflective it is. The M4A1 has an oily metal sheen to it. Right now, your spec and diffuse combo is creating a very stonelike rendering. From the videos/pictures it looks like lt saves tgas from the groups. So I have to make groups :diffuse, normal, AO etc. IMO it's pretty inconvenient approach.
