Please allow me to add. There is a bright side and a dark side to the picture. I know that the side where the light hits is the brightest, but why is there a mix of bright and dark sides? 3ds max being able to hide in view port what you have selected in the UVW map.
So Ive been using 3ds max for a long time. Ive always wanted to be able to hide in my viewport all polygons that are not selected within my UVW editor. I never knew that the button existed. So just wanted to share. Everyone besides me probably already knew this. -

huge video file size and object appears out of nowhere.
