Hi everybody, just got done messing with my new Wacom tablet and created this texture for the dungeon environment I just started, heavily inspired by Torchlights style! Amd here is a shot of it tiled: I'll post up some screenies of the dungeon textures soonish
Try checking out the rivet .mel script. I dont have a direct link since im on a tablet rite now, but i believe its on creativecrash. I use it on a daily basis for pretty much exactly what you need it for, its a life saver
Quite happy with my first hand painted texture. I wish I could have gotten some wood grain in it, but it matches the concept better, and wood seems hard to do, and I don't have a tablet, so I am gonna call it done.
I'm curious about whether the haptic feedback is worth the extra cost. The last I checked the system was $2750. while a seat of Zbrush 2 would be just under $500. Add a new Wacom tablet and you're at $1000-1200. Is it any more productive a system?
Thanks for the reply! I'm left clicking, and/or using my tablet... there seems to be a correlation with changing the brush size, and this 'shooting' effect... A restart seems to fix the problem - its just annoying to restart udk every time I want to change the brush size.... Thanks again :)

I come from a traditional art background, majored in children's books in my final year of my Illustration BA. I've done life drawing, oil painting, and used various medias to convey imagery. I've…
Hello artists! I am trying to find a gift for my friend, who is a digital (and traditional) artist that is now learning 3D animation. He is mostly interested in drawing animations. Budget $250. Any suggestion would be great! What would you like to get as a gift? He does already have wacom tablet.
First UV map I have ever done, ever. BUT CAN I SKIN IT? More to the point, can I skin it without my Wacom tablet? It's at the fixers for now, but I am giving this a shot anyway. And now! I don't think I know what I'm doing. Any help would be seriously appreciated
Apologies if this has already been answered somewhere already.. Is it currently not possible to constrain a brush stroke in Substance painter horizontally or vertically by for example holding shift and drawing a line on my tablet? It's hard for me to wrap my head around such a powerful texturing tool not being able to do…
