Nope, you just download them again once you are up and running. Windows 7 gets a lots of it for you. You should only really need to manually install graphics, tablet, mouse/keyboard and maybe sound drivers. -

That is a very cool toy indeed. Not to rain on your parade but are there any huge benefits to drawing directly on the screen versus looking up at a screen with a tablet on your desk (or in your lap, like me with my Intuos 2) that justifies the price? -

Regarding the paintovers, I don't have my bamboo tablet pen. I left it at my sister's house on accident. As for the primitives statement, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Caskets and crates are pretty primitive objects. -

Since you use Blender already you can learn the basics of sculpting and retopo there. Plenty of tutorials around. Not worth it learning Mudbox in that case. I recommend you get a tablet if you don't have one yet. -

tablets in general have pretty weak gpus, the surface book with the external gpu is different on that regard. but the extra gpubmakes it heavier and if you reaoly use it, it will surely not last for long the good thing on the thinkpad is definitely the wacomtech, sad but true -

Hi there, High Poly version is finally finished. Now i am working on Low Poly and Baking for texturing. Software used: 3DsMAx I have Zbrush, but for now my pen and tablet doesnt work, so no scuplting. :-( -
