surface book pen questions

So, recently I got the surface book, being extremely buggy overall, I was able to fix things here and there. although I'm not at all able to find a solution to use a middle mouse button... which drives me crazy? I only use the cintiq/intuos for modeling, sculpting, etc. And I wonder if you guys know a different option pen for the surface? I also wonder if it would work on the surface book?

I am almost hopeless, depending on how this goes, I may send it back...

just as I thought, there are many other annoying kinks in the Ntrig pens,

that said, get radial menu, there you can configure it

Does the screen still give you that annoying ripple effect when you push down with the pen. I bought a surface pro 3 for drawing and sculpting and it was pretty much useless.

Yeah unfortunately it still does that, atleast with my surface pro 4 it does. But I'm willing to bet its the same with the Surface book. The ripple is annoying but not a deal breaker for me.

ripple as in the effect around the mouse cursor? you can turn that off

tablets in general have pretty weak gpus, the surface book with the external gpu is different on that regard. but the extra gpubmakes it heavier and if you reaoly use it, it will surely not last for long

the good thing on the thinkpad is definitely the wacomtech, sad but true

The ripple effect I experience on the SP4 is with the lcd itself when you're drawing you can see the screen color distorts a bit at the point of pressure from the pen. Not the one that's artificially created by pen flicks(that I've disabled). This is more a hardware thing I guess. I still love the SP4 though, having had many tablets with the intention of using as a sketchbook I think this is by far the best one so far.
