I'm trying to add an emissive map to my project but when I select it here: It creates emissive map, then says Delete command isn't available (CC 2015) and then when I select my emissive map it shows "create new project" dialog. When I select a gloss map it's back in my project.
Hey guys, I just wanted to share this shader I made. It's a bit on the expensive side (90 - 115 instructions, depending on static switch params), Anyways I took the idea from Chris Albeluhn (http://www.chrisalbeluhn.com/work.html) and just really added to it. s I tried script in maya 2015 no luck :( would have solved the radial symmetry problem for me. nice trick mogul did u put cylijnder as a refrence to the 1st object? I think for most of the problems i will have to use duplicate special and then weld
somedoggy, Hi , I usually still multiply AO on top of Albedo for base color and also multiply AO with 0.5 for specular. Mostly for ground materials. (in UE4) I would like to hear you opinion on this if possible: http://polycount.com/discussion/comment/2480548/#Comment_2480548 Thanks.
As for the linear colors in the viewport, I have no idea, I don't really know how to check it even, I'm using Maya 2015. I'm not doing any shader calculations, and I agree the Linear/Gamma space is very confusing, I need to learn more about it.
I have these options in 2015. but I don't know the name for that tool options script to feed you the bits you need. :( Alternatively, you can get to the same function via marking menus for each tool, holding down w,e,r +lmb >Axis.
