It's not. Maybe if you were trying to show off a game portfolio piece it would be a bit questionable, but otherwise is perfectly alright. UDK can render over 1.5 million realtime.
open up a window with the python console, it has realtime feedback of everything you do in blender now! some copypaste and anything you did becomes a script for re-use ;)
This looks great! Love the lighting... hard to believe its realtime. Chernobyl for the win! Maybe sky could have more blue color, since your shadow color is blueish.
NEW QUESTION!!! is there a way to view realtime shaders, such as HLSL in the maya viewport? this was a great feature in max since i have been making a lot of my own shaders latley.
Visuals sell games. So the bulk of the 'push' is in that area. There's hope. There is the PPU and check out the 'Realtime fluid simulation' thread. If games suck then stop buying them. I did.
Hey guys! I wanted to make a Gundam model for quite some while and finally got a highpoly of the Grimgerde. Texturing and further details will be added to a realtime version later. And - as always: hope you like it : ) https://youtu.be/v0uFBRderpc
So two days ago I decided to make a grenade, using only the Xoliul Shader (realtime viewport 3Ds Max) for my final results, and post process in Photoshop afterwards. Here are my results. :)
Ah man thanks so much for all your hard work on this guys. Xoliul 1 is still my favourite realtime/viewport shader by a mile. Really looking forward to playing with this.
Cool, that's something I hoped some one would do someday in realtime. My main concern at the moment is the amount of blur all over your pictures. Hard to judge anything with that.
Damn, looks great on my iphone3gs, even better on iphone 4. I'm guessing none of the lighting is realtime right? *crosses fingers hoping there will someday be an editor for the general public to use*
