Actually I think that's one of the strongest points of college education. It gives you an environment, with expert tutors, to try out stuff! Yeah I probably need alot of help setting this up. Cos the normal are disappearing from the model. At first it loads fine. Then it disappear if I try to apply materials on the model. I try to force refresh and then the materials will disappear all together ... it's like random behavior almost impossible to troubleshoot… -

The tree textures are modified photo source. I had to really force the texture onto the trees since the Texture space was meant for the stump. I toned down the roots a bit, but i want the scene to look weird and i dig the tentacle nature of the trees, makes it seem that much more like an alien invasion scene and helps the… -

jes, in a 3000 person XP environment, i can tell you we have about 1 user caused crash a day at most. We have two macs the only thing they use them for are photoshop boxes, and testing web site apps. I've managed to crash one once just trying to learn the interface :/ then again our xp installs are fairly restrictive. the… -

Alright quick half-serious variations for the goblin, although I really think it'd be fun to make some sort of animal skin headdress thing. I was looking at Frodo's orc helm, in case it's not completely 100% obvious. Rather like it though, I may keep it and try to figure out some sort of armor. -

What I meant is the beauty shot would look much better if he had his shield on. As for the feet even if it is stylized or "fantasy" you need the balance, take ffVII. Cloud's proportions are still in tact, or World of warcraft's orcs- big shoulders and hands balances with big feet. I hope you get my point.
