How to divide a model for 3d printing and them assembly all parts?
Hello,I don't have 3d printing experience, I got a 3d model that I have to print. But the model have to be printed in bigger size than 3d printer so the model have to be divided into several parts that have to be connected to each other. Are there tutorial or something that show how to do something like that? Please help. -

I need STL files to 3d print the metal sections for my Sunbracers cosplay from Destiny 2. I can provide a blender file from the video game for reference; however, the issue is that the detail is not in the mesh geometry and is instead in normalmaps, which is insufficient for 3d printing. Translucent 3d printing.
Can someone recommend me a company that does 3d printing of translucent materials. I would like to make a lamp, but the only website I know for 3d printing is shapeways. And they don't offer translucent materials. Or if it's even possible. -
