Is there any way to bake backfacing geometry? I've made some cloth wrappings that twist over themselves and now I've realized bakers bake the backfacing faces with either a flipped normal direction, or ignore them entirely. Is there a way to bake them as if they were a double sided plane?
Trying to wrap up this scene. Anyone know the best way to get the best screen shots out of ue4. I tried high rez screenshot and get getting jaggies and a bunch of other stuff. If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate it.
pardon the pun, Just wrapped up my Animation Reel and would love some feed back. I've got some cycles that I'm going to put up on my website as well. Thanks! Vimeo Youtube [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7onpfdTKOsY[/ame]
Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've posted in here. I've just wrapped up this sculpt I did of a Young Heracles. Hope you guys liked it and feel free to give me some critique on what you think!
Polished and baked! Getting super close to a finished product : ). Might do one more lighting pass but it's about time I wrapped this one up. Let me know what you think!
well looks fine for thoise simple sheet wrapping aorund balls, but I wonder how it will deal with a jacket for example. hope you get a nice looking bunch of creases. have to wait and see
Cloth does work best in straight even quads. Simplest example would be a cape. Just made from a plane with a lot of spans. But its common to have a render geo wrapped to the sim geo.
1. Are there any plugins out there for Raycast Selection inside of Max? Paint selection works kinda similar but is a bit flaky and innacurate with it selections. 2. Is there an equivalent of XSI's Shrink Wrap available in Max? Basically it lets you conform one mesh to another meshes form. Thx.
Hi Im trying to wrap my head around PBR without luck. My biggest problem is visiulizing it. Could anyone post a set of textures that are PBR ready so that i can see more or less how it looks? Any help would be appriciated !!
