Japhir : Yes I did the other too and I'm a man Kovac : Yes, to the end they must be together. I'll do some modification to the end because I have a third character to do. You can see this next on this link. And yes I learned a lot with those characters, It's new for me. Sectaurs : Then I added this two pictures in…
I am starting a new project, this time it is a sword. I made a lot of mistakes during this painting, the biggest two would be taking too much time and overthinking. Time is up for painting, and now it's time to model. But anyways, is it too detailed? How about the composition? Values? https://netalt.imgur.com/all/
Do what r13 says - he's a smartey man. Also do what hawken says - he's smartey too. It's a common and valid business practice to drive up your salary by having two companies bid on you - as long as you're totally honest and you don't push it too far.
You'll need at least two UV sets for variation. A very simple method is to tile your texture on your first UV set, but not to use too much grime in it. Then create a grime texture which will be used as an overlay, put that on your second UV set, and make sure it tiles at a different interval. If you want to get more…
Looks great ! I agree it feels a bit "raw" at the moment. I like what did MrNinjutsu with the color correction and all but it might be a bit too strong for my taste. I like FreneticPonies's correction too so I'd probably do something in between those two :)
I like these!they look alot better than last time! as far as the texture goes i like the last one, its kind of a mixture of the first two :D the first one looks a bit too much like clay and the second one looks too washed out.
I've decided to increase the polycount by a bit. I can't ship something this low-poly when it is aimed at pc quality. If the reviews reveal that it is too dense then I will create some LOD's. Still, thanks for taking the time to answer!
After about 8 months of working, posting, and getting feedback from you great polycounters, I have finally landed myself a position in the gaming industry. Thank you all so much for everything that you have taught me throughout the years; and I would like to specifically thank Chris Zdana (aka Geezus), who told me that I…
Day 3 & 4 of my „One Asset – Two Days” challenge. As a scifi Fan my portfolio really lacks spaceships and so I decided to do a spaceship for this challenge. I don’t want to go into full “Star Citizen” Mode, but create more of a low-poly but realistic model (inspired by the awesome models of Ansel Hsiao…
I agree with reverendK. I usually think about the Monthly Competition as a place to make single items for, since people usually do sets all the time, and they take a while to do (over a month if you want something really good at least). I don't think having real world strong cultural influences would be that good. Sure,…
