@ja000ha Thank you, glad you like it! @RocketBryan Good question, I certainly should have optimized the hair and leaves before placing them, cause right now I feel like it might be a red flag to clients, for the amount of polys there are for these. I started placing hair just to test out things but it came out alright and…
While it's good that this is going through the proper legal motions, to re-enforce all these rights, I don't really think an Atheist dressing like a pirate for a religion he doesn't believe is true in hopes of making a n anti-christian statement is exactly the same as some fundamentalists truly believing some theory is an…
I'm going to guess it's the normals of the mesh. in 3dsMax, throw an Edit Normals on and check out the normals in that problem area. Use the move gizmo to adjust their pointing angle - that, or that need to be split, which can be done in the Edit Normal modifier (called break, will split the normals based on the selection…
Ha you're right. It renders correctly. I've added an edit normals modifier and the normals are ok + the edit normals fixes the display. Better, if I start by applying an edit normal modifier, just collapse and use your script, there's no problem at all. Weird ! Maybe the primitives normals are fucked up by default. My bad…
Bigjohn. Seriously. I don't follow your logic. Are you saying that internet piracy doesn't exist? You're scenario of the hobo and the orange, it's asinine to think like that. It doesn't work that way. Are you Nick in disguise? Your justification sounds exactly like his. Take him down, GarageBay. [EDIT] edited to…
Short stacks can be kept live. Editable Poly base modifier is very usable (check out the Graphite tools), then you can add a Chamfer, and an OpenSubdiv on top. Edit simplified basemesh down in EP, easily hotkey up and down for editing Chamfer settings, and toggle subdiv on/off. Very fast and workable.
thanks guys. i'll go back and try to get it editable again...since i can't adjust the levels to retry projecting unless i can edit the loaded mesh anyway. i'm pretty sure i tried "edit topology" many times, but i'll see if i can fiddle with it a bit more
you don't need anything fancy. do this: - go into 'face mode' in the UV editor - select some faces - go to the edit>copy in the 'edit UVWs' window - select some new faces - go edit>paste Note that this usually only works if the faces are the same in number and shape. And then only works some of the time...
Ok thanks very much, just had feedback of my lecturer too, so i'm going to edit the mesh then ill put the editted one up, he pretty much stated the same issues as you when looking at the model. I'll put up an updated one on this thread in a few days with the edits
Hey guys, it's me ceebee! I have a classmate who is a bit shy and anxious about posting her artwork online, so I thought I might give this a shot and show you one of her pieces. I think she's a pretty badass artist when she wants to be, but she's a bit timid when it comes to posting her stuff around. If you guys could…
