Any PC game that has a frame rate cap really bothers me. Every PC title should allow 120+ fps, have a FOV slider if it's a first person title, support any standard resolution, but we're seeing a lot of games skip out on those features lately.
Day 2 of the Household Props Challenge: Desk (300 tris, 256 diffuse) Only had enough time to quickly blockout my texture; most of my time was spent trying to push as much silhouette as I could within the tri limit. A bit tricky for something that's a little curvy!
I could ask the same about unreal engine 2.5 -> 3.0, did it really warrant a new engine? I mean, people often mistake bioshock for an unreal engine 3 title. When we do see unreal engine 4, we will see what it will be all about.
Cheapest? Lets see (prices from best buy): PS4 - $300 2 Move controllers - $100 PS4 camera - $60 Dreams game - $60(?) It's cool, sure, the way any VR sculpting or painting program is but looks way more cumbersome to actually be anything more than a novelty.
Neat! The first thing I thought was those were toys. Or 3d printed miniatures. What about here? http://opengameart.org/content/faq Edit: Here is another alternative license. They can use in commercial ventures, but must give you credit. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/
I have a request. Please show me how twich looks without mask, I'm super curious about it :D btw. great work here. I love your game, I spent already more than 300 hours on it but the amount of cheaters in it is breaking the experiance. :hushed:
I think I'm starting to like these changes I made to the vehicle. It makes the overall function seem more practicle. What I did was cut a "hole" into the sides and added two doors on bothsides to allow for passenger entrance and departure. As you can see there's only a difference of 302 triangles.
the email i got this morning says that we'll be able to convert micromeshes to geometry in this release in a word woo!! I'm another one of those horrible bastards who's never had any real instability issues - thats across loads of different hardware and all versions dating back to 3.0
I'm a big 2d fighter fan myself, I've ordered a couple custom sticks with sanwa parts(arcade parts they use in japanese arcades). Check out the forum of www.shoryuken.com, a couple of really talented custom stick makers. But be warned they are pretty expensive running anywhere from $100-$300.
Your RAM isn't the bottleneck, it's your video card. The majority of the viewport rendering is done with your graphics card. I'd recommend getting a video card with at least 1GB of memory. You can find a pretty damn good one on newegg.com for about $180-$300 depending on your budget.
