I may be able to help more. I animated a simple plane, and saved it out in .ma format, and here is some interesting data from the file: createNode animCurveTL -n "pPlane1_translateY"; setAttr ".tan" 3; setAttr ".wgt" no; setAttr -s 3 ".ktv[0:2]" 1 0 10 13.589232757275301 20 -7.4898579375440484; setAttr -s 3 ".kit[1:2]" 9…
Thanks for all the comments and crits! I appreciate it. Made most of the suggested changes...I took some new screenshots of the sniper and thought of using that system for every finished model. First frame: 3 views of the model without texture, second frame: same views with texture, third and fourth frame: for texture…
From Bottom to Top -I like this shot. The Solar panels would really good with a reflection map on them though. The metal support feels a bit large and clean also. -The Framing on this shot is kind of poor, Put it off-center and get more of the landscape in the frame and it may pull together much more nicely. -Same as the…
There also is a filters for photoshop that can dilate your textures. I use Flaming Pear's Solidify A at work. Also What r_fletch_r said is correct, X normal also has a edge padding feature that can be tweaked to have as much padding as you desire.
It's only bad if you start flaming one side or the other. As long as it's just a post about whatever valid information is out there, it's fine. Of course, you could argue that this is information is readily available on multiple sites so it might not be necessary to create a thread here.

Ok let's keep this on topic. You girls want to have a flame war then do it over pms. We don't care about your personal issues with each other and yeah Meshman. You wont last long around here with posts like that.
The trouble with Max's paint select is that even if you have "Ignore Backfacing" checked, it still likes to select backfacing verts. This is also evident in Selecting by Angle. I remember that Orion Flame had a nice paint selection tool. I am wondering if there is a paint selection script to get precise painting with real…
