Personally I would like to just circum-navigate the whole fucking system. I would love to see art taken on as an apprenticing system. Art has a lot more in common with a trade imo than it does with essays and bachelors. [vv]http://vimeo.com/41750420[/vv]
Well I completly agree some alternative navigation system could be good at least as it's one of the biggest complains. But I love the current one, far more usable and fast then the "standard". And that was my biggest problems on Mb. But indeed the 2 systems would make everyone happy
i hate to see nintendo go, but yeah, i think the ONLY way they'll be able to survive is if the next system was dirt cheap compared to the other systems and it may be considering the others could be in excess of $300, but they are being blown out of the water as we speak, err...type
Not sure about that...most the non player people I know are talking more about the wii than any other system, just because it's simple, fun and cheap. Man...even my dad told me that this system was cool !!!! He never played a single game !!!
By some reason, I lost my original post, so I wanna re-post the feedback I got from Shabba, in order to keep the discussion moving forward. Shabba: "Very interesting idea, and a good start. - Ur images are huge man, takes forever to load them. Downres by 1/2+repost - When I read "story of the environment is about how do…
You guys aren't in a mental place where you are capable of understanding what Vito is trying to communicate. Once upon a time, we reproduced books using scribes. The job was fairly prestigious. Then someone made a printing press. The last people to realize that the job of a scribe was obsolete, were the scribes. A similar…
Why not trying it for yourself? :) Polycount on Max depends on RAM...for example my system can handle 60-100 million polygons (smoothly)...and I have 8 gigs + 64bit. 32bit + 4 gigs ram = approx 30 Million polys (second system)
Adding them into a circle is the way you add them to your stream. Don't think of it as the Facebook "friends" system, but more like Twitter's "follow" system, with the ability to put people into groups. Don't be shy to follow people you're interested in :) It doesn't have to be mutual.
Does anyone else remember a recent article stating that Voyager 1 seemed to have come to a halt. Almost as if it was stuck in the boundary of our solar system? I wonder what happened with that. Imagine if it was all some sort of thin liquid on the boundary of the solar system.
flaagan, thats really cool. Up here in Maine, we have a 1:93,000,000 scale model of the solar system, at forty miles from Pluto to Sun, its the largest complete three-dimensional scale model of the Solar System in the World. Kind of bizarre.
