eh, i'm still on XP64 at home. all my (3d/cg) software seems to work fine without restrictions. and compared to windows 7 at work - no wacom issues either whatsoever. what's the draw to upgrade - games?
Have you tried Collaborative Work? There is a site: INDIE CG (www.indiecg.com) Lots of indies and projects are looking for collaboration, and you can find people to do your models. You might find it useful. Hope it helps.
If you meant poorly done over the top cg fight scenes, then yes. I just wanna know what Kuato looks like in this version ....and god damn I miss 90's ultra gore.
This is pretty fantastic, I love seeing 3D being used to create incredible 2D art, it just show's there's more and more application for CG in all art, not just games and animation as a lot of people tend to think.
Just watched it, it was pretty, prettyyy, prettyyy, good. There were some shots that I thought the cg animals talking were animatronics, in a good way, cause it looked really good, also had very gorgeous environments!
you nailed it. :) Nice work. As the first image was loading I was like "oh he got new reference material" then I saw the cg-ness of it and smiled. Its a bit hazy for NM, but it helps sell the brightness.
you need to look up references when you do materials. Like all your specularity sharpnesses are wrong, making it look like really old and cheesy CG and give material definitions which are not right.
Just a side note - I noticed that if you join the CGSociety at CG talk for $35, you can get a discount on XSI foundation and pick it up for $400 - not too shabby. let the good times roll. Bree
our uni got max2010 copies for all the CG pools a week ago but still non of us interested got the time to test and install it. Will test then probably some network/ sattelite rendering stuff with the new features
Hi all, I have a question.. Is it legal to make a collapsed or destroyed 3d version of a real world existing monument or building. Is there any chance of hurting sentiments of people,if they see it going collapsed or completely destroyed in a cg graphic version. Thanks..
