It would be fantastic if you would give 7 minutes to completing this brief survey http://gg.gg/graduate if you are working in a 3D studio - if you are a TD or supervisor please use http://gg.gg/3Dsupervisor This will really impact education in the creative industries and I do thank you for you time.

This is really good feedback as am debating to get the educational license of Max 2012. Does anyone here use it and if so, do you get a banner inserted in your renders? I read somewhere that the educational version (3 year license) does that.....:poly122:
You should look into educating your outsourcing partner. Consistent re-work should not be acceptable. A good bizdev needs to take into account the full cost of production. The extra money/resources spent educating and finding the right outsourcing partner will pay off quickly.
Unless I'm interpreting their FAQ incorrectly Adobe allows the use of educational and teacher licenses for commercial purposes. Only caveats are it has to be installed on your private owned computer and it the license can't be resold. http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/education-faq.html
